Reviews

There’s something special about live performance. The lights go down, the audience quietens and, for the next couple of hours, anything can happen.

Over the years, I’ve reviewed concerts, theatre productions and live shows featuring some extraordinary performers. I’m not interested in dissecting every note or analysing every moment. I want to capture what it actually felt like to be in the room.

The atmosphere. The performances. The unexpected moments. And, occasionally, the things that didn’t quite work.

Because the best reviews shouldn’t just tell you what happened.

They should make you wish you’d been there.
